I have a 1972 MGB and the blinkers don't work. I've checked all fuses, replaced the flasher with a new one from Moss, check the bulbs with no luck. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to send this question to but if not please reply to everettolson@comcast.net if you have some thoughts on my ongoing Lucas love hate reltionship. Regards Everett Olson

Everett, "Playing" with electricity isn't my favorite thing but I've found that doing the very basic of basic steps seems to uncover most of the causes with the least amount of frustration. You mentioned that you've checked all the bulbs and replaced the blinker unit, but, something as simple as one single ground wire can break the circuit and render it useless. I'd be digging for a good wiring diagram and find all of the ground points and connections associated with the turn signal circuit. I'd then disconnect each one, clean it and reassemble/reattach it. I'm much more familiar with the MGA wiring but from what I've learned LBC designers weren't big on re-creating the wheel.

Hi Everett I agree with JD on that one. I have had similar situation with inoperable turn signal and just turned out to be a corroded light socket that prevented good contact. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
