My husband and I inherited a 1974 1/2 MG BGT from my late father. We just drove it over to Seattle from Wenatchee on Sunday, it did great over the pass and we're so excited to have it! Anyway, it had been sitting in my Dad's shop for about 2 years without being driven regularly and we would like to get it checked out by a mechanic because it's running pretty rough and we're sure it needs a tune-up. My husband changed the oil on Monday and yesterday he was stopped at a stop light after driving it on the freeway and it stalled out and had quite a time getting it started again so it definitely needs some work after sitting for so long. Does anybody out there have a recommendation for an MG mechanic in Seattle? I've come across British Automotive on Holman Rd and Eller's Healey Triumph and MG in Magnolia but there aren't any reviews for either online. Any input would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hello Jackie
Sorry nobody has replied but if you are still in need I would recommend Auto Sport in Seattle and Brooklands British in Tacoma, both are excellent.
Good luch and hope to see you as member of club if not already. We lots of fun drives, activities, etc....

Hi Jackie, I can tell you that Auto Sport only does parts and machine work. I have heard folks like Crown Hill, there is also Performance motors in Lynnwood, and Woodinville sports car in Woodinville. Are you in the club? If you are interested the northend meeting is Tuesday the 6th. Check the calender for details. Mark
