Welcome! This will be our jumping off point. We need to decide how we want to participate in this committee. Everybody is busy and I'm sure we don't all want to spend endless time micro-managing every aspect of this. The first phase of discussion is how we want to provide input. Try to meet in person? Keep it on the discussion board? Other? We need to set the tasks for the committee. (What problems are we trying to solve?) We need to find out what capabilities we have (I can do that) We need to figure out our solutions. We need find someone to set up and maintain the database. Anything else? (Please sign with real names if your username isn't obvious about that!) -John

I don't know about the rest of you, but this type of committee is new to me. If I'm understanding it correctly, our objective here is to identify exactly what we want from our digital club. Here goes: I want an exciting website - one that might entice the casual wanderer to want to join. I want a site that is easy to find what one is looking for, be it meeting times/places, what-where-when the next event is, who is my VP and where do we meet, i.e., that sort of thing. That's the type of site I want for someone who doesn't know us to get "hit with" when they click on.
What I want from my MGCCNWC website as a member and as a Board member is this:
I want to have a multi-faceted data base of all members with all the info we maintain on members; i.e., name, address, phone number(s), email address(es) and cars. I want all of the folks who regularly need this information to have easy access to it. I want the data base to be ACCURATE and UP TO DATE! I am happy to help maintain this information or assist in maintaining it.
I look forward to what other's envision for our website. Let's make this productive! Bev
