There was approx. 3 years of MGB models, 1969-72 which used an electrical oil pressure gauge with oil pressure transmitter. It hasn't been known to be a high failure item but when they do fail, a new one will set you back about $125.00 to $150.00 . The same Lucas transmitters were used in the Jaguar and probably the Triumphs as well. Here's my point: If you find one at a swap meet and the seller will guarantee it to work, then it's a good idea to keep one as a spare since new ones are so expensive. What makes it difficult to find on the net is the various nomenclature used. Some are called simply "Transmitter"; others are "transducer', oil pressure sender; etc. Some searches will lead you to the space shuttle and aircraft parts. Attachments:
